VMP is seeking a Graphic Specialist!
VMP Healthcare and Community Living is one of the largest, nonprofit providers of healthcare to seniors in the State of Wisconsin offering a full continuum of care. The Marketing Specialist leads the marketing initiatives to build awareness and maintain the professional image of VMP. This position focuses on graphic design, advertising, website and social media presence, media relations and special event management. Must be a self-directed leader and team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a facility-wide style guide for VMP to ensure consistency in marketing communications. This includes, but is not limited to, correspondence, forms, signage, email signatures and business cards.
Performs desktop publishing for internal customers of marketing materials or signage. Advising improvements as needed, and presents final layout to supervisor or department for approval.
Utilizes Adobe Suite CS6 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Flash) for graphic design and creation of marketing materials.
Manages relationships with print suppliers, coordinates the delivery of electronic files for printing and oversees the quality of production.
Plans, writes and designs print and social media advertising, measuring the effectiveness of paid advertising efforts.
Maintains Social Media calendar to align print and online marketing efforts.
Tracks monthly social media and website statistics and analytics.
Leads the Reputation Management efforts responding to online reviews and engagement through social media and online sites.
Coordinates the layout and design of marketing materials included in each Service Line Tour and Admission packet.
Manages the relationships with promotional product suppliers including employee apparel and items, expo and special event give-aways, foundation activities and internal customer promotional needs.
Assists on the planning committees for community-wide events such as Pumpkin Drop (October), Kids 2 Kids (December) and other public relations events.
Prepares fact sheets, news releases, photographs, or tape recordings for media representatives and other persons who may be interested in learning about or publicizing VMP activities or message. Responsible for taking photographs at scheduled marketing and facility events.
Works with the marketing team to develop, prioritize, and implement strategic project events, including open houses, seminars or trainings, informational sessions for prospective residents and other marketing events.
Maintains the VMP website keeping it updated with current event and facility information.
Presents information regarding VMP facilities to visitors in a manner that supports the sales staff and assists the Marketing Department in achieving its overall goals.
Assists in marketing strategies and objectives. Participates in new market research and design, as well as participates in preparing marketing exhibitor events.
