ASSISTED LIVING DIRECTOR (RN license preferred)

Village at Manor Park’s assisted living facility is a 130-bed facility that is seeking a Director to assist our dedicated team in taking excellent care of our residents. The Assisted Living Director will assume 24-hour accountability for the management of resident care, across locations, within a designated program.  Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for identified program outcomes focused on clinical care and patient satisfaction. Serve as liaison between nursing and Administration.   Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of activities that directly affect resident care.  Provide ideas for new clinical and support services as well as enhancing existing services and programs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


Directly supervises up to 30 employees in the Nursing Department.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work and staffing and schedules; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree in Healthcare related field. Current RN and ability to become CBRF certified in all modules including medication pass, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS


RN, LPN Licensure or CBRF Certification in all five modules. Ability to become a CBRF Administrator.
